The area rug is one of a couple of coasters I inherited from my mom. Funny how once you have a dollhouse, you can see how things like that would work as miniatures. Do you know the book “The Dollhouse Caper”? I just love it. The dollhouse people in that book save a family from a robbery. And they are really dollhouse people, too. For instance, they have Great Spoon which was given to them by the big people, and it hangs on the wall in the kitchen and they don’t quite know what to do with it. I read it every Christmas and always laugh out loud.
