In the beginning, I thought I’d learn
a verse from each chapter.
But, mercy! how to choose?
Everyone knows the sweet bits,
good shepherds and lilies and such,
But I could not resist the obscure:
Of the children of Zebulun,
by their generations, after their families,
by the house of their fathers,
according to the number of the names,
from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to war;
And Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little;
and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it.
or the erroneous:

from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so. And infamously:
